*** Qualifications and Certifications ***

DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK A LOCKSMITH WHAT QUALIFICATIONS HE AND/OR HIS COMPANY HAS BEFORE HAVING THEM COME INTO YOUR HOME!  YOU WANT THINGS DONE THE WAY THE MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDS AND ADVISES.  UNLESS THAT PERSON HAS FACTORY-TRAINING, THEY ARE NOT QUALIFIED.  "WINGING IT" LEARNING AS THEY EXPERIMENT ON CUSTOMERS' LOCKS AND CHARGING THE CUSTOMER IS NOT FAIR TO THE CUSTOMER.  JUST BECAUSE A LOCKSMITH CLAIMS THAT THEY'VE BEEN IN THE TRADE FOR YEARS DOESN'T MEAN THAT HE/THEY HAVE BEEN COMPETENT IN THE TRADE.  ASK FOR CERTIFICATES!  IT'S TO PROTECT YOURSELF, LOVED ONES, AND YOUR BELONGINGS.  SEACOAST LOCK & SAFE CAN AND WILL PROVIDE THESE TO YOU AT YOUR REQUEST.  WE HAVE THEM HANGING IN OUR SHOWROOMS FOR YOU, THE PUBLIC TO SEE.  WE ARE PROUD OF OUR EDUCATION AND TRAINING!

The owner of Seacoast Lock & Safe, Paul Letourneau, has over (70) Certifcates in aspects of Locksmithing.  He has been going to our Annual Locksmith Convention for the past 28 years, not missing one Convention.  During these Conventions, called Yankee Security Convention, locksmithing classes have been given and he has been taking them for the past 28 years, all given by manufacturers in the Locksmith Industry or Manufacturer's Rep's or Legends in the Locksmith Industry.

In addition to these classes at our Convention, he has also taken Manufacturers' seminars and classes to get direct training from "the horse's mouth", learning their products inside-out, and learning "insider" tricks and repair/installation techniques.  These classes, together with the hands-on training from his father, who started the business, have contributed to what and where Seacoast Lock & Safe is today, and will be helping shape where it will be in the future.

Paul also took the time after High School to go to college to get his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Major in Business Management.  He accomplished this in (4) years, eager to get out into the business world and put his degree to work.  In his 1st full year with Seacoast Lock & Safe the company doubled its sales, which had been stagnant the prior (5) years, and the rest is History. (See "History" section on more on the company)

We are a Fully Insured company (see "About Us"), including, but not limited to:  Automobile and Liability (on our employees and our vehicles, including our personal vehicles---  there isn't a vehicle that would ever drive onto your property that would not be insured:  something you should ask other locksmiths, you'd be surprised:  some don't carry insurance at all, as in Workers' Comp. Insurance, Automobile Insurance or Liability Insurance, which means that if anything were to happen while they are there it would be YOUR insurance that would have to cover any damage or injury to something or someone)
